'Alias Janaki' starring Venkat Rahul, Aneesha Abrose and Sri Ramya in lead roles is being made by producer Neelima Tirumala Shetty on Sanghamitra Arts banner with Tara Arulraj as presenter. Daya K is the director. The trailer was released on Saturday evening in Hyderabad.

Producer Neelima Tirumala Shetty said, "While many have questioned me why I'm doing this film after 'Panjaa', it was Pawan Kalyan who adviced me to introduce new content to the film industry as I'm also new to the industry. That's the reason why I started this project. We have completed the shooting part. We are confident that this film will earn a good name to our team. We are planning for the audio launch shortly."

Hero Venkat Rahul commented, "Alias Janaki appears not like a story but as an incident with realistic approach. It's a brilliant film in technical point of view."
