The audio launch of Shriya Saran's upcoming movie Pavitra was held in Hawamahal on Saturday, April 7, 2013 amidst many Tollywood celebrities, well-wishers and fans. Apart from Vizag, the audio launch for this movie was held in Vijayawada, Tirupathi, Eluru and Rajahmundry.

The gala affair saw energetic performances by local dance groups which kept the audience entertained, but the main highlight of the event was music director M. M. Sreelekha's performance. Sreelekha took to the mike and crooned Pavithra Pavithra, the title track of the movie. Meanwhile Shriya, was all praise for director Janardhan Maharshi who gave her a chance to play this strong role.

Pavitra is an Upcoming Telugu film Directed by Janardhan Maharshi starring Shriya Saran, Roja Selvamani, Tanikella Bharani and Kaushik Babu in lead roles. K. Sadhak Kumar and G. Maheshwara Reddy have produced this film under Aadesh films Banner. The Soundtrack is composed by M. M. Srilekha. Shriya will be seen in a bold role of a Prostitute in this film.Updated April 9, 2013
