All Arjun Kapoor fans can thank Salman Khan for giving the industry a new star, as it was the 'Dabangg' Khan who recognised talent in Arjun, when he was a 140 kg weighing assistant director. At a recently held event Arjun raved about his mentor and said that whatever he is today is because of Khan. At the event Kapoor said, "He saw me when I was 140 kg's and he saw potential in me as an actor. I still don't know what he saw in me, when I was an assistant director. I was around him and used to spend a lot of time with him. I think it came from an emotional connect and I'm glad, he is god sent."
