Looks like Deepika is in no mood to oblige anyone and recently the actress turned down an offer to do an item number. The actress said a big no to do an item song in Subhash Ghai's upcoming film 'Kaanchi after Rishi Kapoor wanted her to do it. It is learnt that Rishi Kapoor had suggested the leggy lass's name for an item song in Subhash Ghai's film; however the actress after much thought declined the offer. In a recent interview, the renowned filmmaker had admitted that the 61-year old actor insisted that Deepika would be apt for a song that would be filmed on her. The filmmaker further added that the actress declined the offer since she isn't keen on doing special numbers and would rather prefer to play the main lead. -- Published on April 17, 2014
