Celebrated Bengali filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh passed away in Kolkata, on Thursday. Reportedly, the 49-year-old died of cardiac arrest. Born on August 31, 1963 Ghosh started his career in advertising and made his directorial debut with Bengali film 'Hirer Angti'. He won the National Award for best direction in 2010 for his much-acclaimed film 'Abohoman'. He also helmed the Ajay Devgn-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 2004 release 'Raincoat', which won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi.
