Vidya Balan, who has given several bold and brilliant performances in films like 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani', to name a few, recently gave veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt a late night call. Now before you jump the guns, let us tell you she called Bhatt to congratulate him for delivering a great film in the form of 'Aashiqui 2'. Mahesh Bhatt revealed this at the success bash of the film. "She called me at 12: 30 in the night and said that sir I had to take this liberty. I said don't you be hesitant to praise us because this is what we pine for. We are like beggars waiting for praise and the merciless brutal media deny us praise till the time they finally see it, we can only shut your (media's) mouth by our box-office collection," stated the 64-year-old. "She was all praise and said that the film inspired her and she praised Mohit Suri and she said that I can't say whether I liked Aditya Roy Kapur's performance or Rahul Jaykar's that means that the character was stronger," he further added.
