Amole Gupte's Hawaa Hawaai is a lesson in hope. Young Arjun (Partho Gupte), is a chaiwala boy, who dreams of being an ace skater. He dreams of being able to skate after seeing Aniket Bhargava aka Lucky (Saqib Saleem), a skating coach who loves teaching young kids how to skate and together they pursue Arjun's dream of winning the skating championship. The movie is poignant and touching in its honesty. Partho as the tea-boy who dares to dream, his bunch of friends (played by Ashfaque Bismillah Khan, Salman Chhote Khan, Abdul Maaman Menon and Thirupathi Kushnapelli) who are willing to do anything for him and his coach Saqib Saleem who believes he has found a champion, all deliver brilliant, sensitive and heart-warming performances in this tale of childish innocence and aspirations from Amole Gupte. Hawaa Hawaai will bring a tear to your eye, have you jumping with joy, biting your knuckles in anticipation and warm the cockles of your heart.Hitesh Sonik's music and Amole Gupte's lyrics add life and soul to the movie especially 'Chule Ke Angaare'. Neha Joshi, Anuj Sachdeva, Makrand Deshpande, Pragya Yadav and the rest of the cast deliver extremely fine performances as well Hawaa Hawaai, is an inspiring tale of hope, faith and joy in the midst of what seems like insurmountable obstacles which makes for a great watch. Not only is it a lesson in achieving your dreams but also in how to utilise what you have in life that your kids might enjoy learning this summer holiday. -- Published on May 10, 2014
