Bob Kile has lived an interesting life. With the good fortune to grow up in beachside southern California during the golden age of hot rodding, he went from a sailor and racer to a structural engineer, becoming a Mercedes-Benz owner along the way. In fact, it was a photo of the Mercedes-Benz he bought years ago and passed down to his daughter that won him a 2013 SLK during this year's Best Summer event. -- Published on January 23, 2013
