Toyota awarded the women inventors of Soccket with a $50,000 grant for their eco-friendly generator built inside a soccer ball, allowing those in undeveloped areas to harness the power of play and help bring electricity to their lives. Toyota partnered with Newsweek/Daily Beast to recognize female inventors and entrepreneurs for their innovation and courage in tackling some of the most pressing problems facing women.
