We all know that the oscars are NOT just about the winners...so here is our recap on the most memorable moments NON OSCAR WINNER RELATED, from this years academy awards!
Number 3--- the Cirque du Soleil act...lets be honest, it was kinda random, and misplaced but none the less, fun to watch...perhaps we got this cirque taste due to the fact that the theatre, no longer refered to as the kidak theatre will house the cirque show for the rest of the year. .
Number 2---Even though this didnt actually HAPPEN, my highlight was all the buzz leading UP to the oscars with sasha baron cohen threatening to walk the carpet as the dictator...then supposidly got his oscar tickets taken away, and then, as we reported on, sent a STERN threat to the academy...he may not have made it inside, but the dictator was a highlight for us at Funrahi movies...way to push the envelope cohen:)
Number 1---the opening act by billy crystal---this is the 9th time billy led the show, and we think he did a great job...ofcourse the opening montage highlighting all of the nominees for best picutre was great, but that one liner he lfet us with was pretty classic...he said, ""Enjoy yourselves. Because nothing can take the sting out the world's problems than watching millionaires present each other with golden statues."
