Henry Cavill's in talks to take over for Tom Cruise in "Man From U.N.C.L.E" for his next starring role. We're all excited to see "Man Of Steel" hit theaters on June 14th, but we've also been wondering what Henry Cavill's next role will be after he becomes a household name as the latest reincarnation of Superman. Although no movies are currently on his slate post "Man of Steel, " Variety reports that Henry Cavill is currently in talks to fill Tom Cruise's shoes in the Guy Ritchie spy film, "Man From U.N.C.L.E."
The film, based on the 1960's TV series, lost Tom Cruise as its leading man just a few days ago so that he could focus on the 5th installment of the "Mission Impossible" franchise instead. But Warner Bros moved fast on the hunt for a replacement for the role of Napoleon Solo, and if all goes well, Cavill will be their new lead. Do you think Cavill could be a good replacement for Cruise? His last starring role in "The Cold Light of Day" was a box office bomb, making only $3.75 million dollars in US, but with "Man of Steel" as one of the most anticipated movies of summer, is Cavill our next breakout movie star? You know what to do in the comments section. I'm Erin Darling, thanks for tuning in to Funrahi Movies. -- Published on May 31, 2013
