Joss Whedon is talking about the status of "The Avengers 2" and even mentions that we might be seeing some new characters join the superhero line up...At the premiere of "Iron Man 3" last night Whedon told Yahoo! Movies that he's finished a draft of the script for "The Avengers" sequel and apparently it's looking pretty good. Although he went on to say that the goal of the film is not to top the first installment, and that he's approaching the follow up as its own entity, saying, quote, "When you're in the story and you're dealing with these characters that you love, that everybody loves, when you've got the new characters sliding in next to them it's very exciting. Then I don't feel pressure, it's like I'm reading my favorite comic." Filming is tentatively set to begin next February, and according to Whedon, he's definitely keeping himself busy with the preliminary processes of writing, taking meeting with actors, and story-boarding. Whedon also dropped a hint that there will be some new characters in the upcoming sequel, specifically an unnamed brother-sister duo who appear in the comics. Rumor has it he might be referring to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, but what are your thoughts? What comic book sibling dream team could he be talking about, and who could best play those roles?
