Man of Steel director Zack Snyder and his wife Deborah, the film's producer, braved the weather and a malfunctioning umbrella, which collapsed on them mid-interview, for the European premiere in London. Henry Cavill, who plays Superman in the film, said it was one of the quickest casting processes ever, but the Snyder's have a different opinion. "Well for him it might have been the quickest, but we scoured the ends of the Earth to find him," Deborah revealed. "But then we actually only screen-tested one man, and that was Henry." Zack chipped in adding that "the fact Henry's not horribly ugly" helped with their decision. Report by Laurie Blake. -- Published on June 15, 2013
